An AirAsia shuttle bus collided with a parked Nok Air plane at Don Mueang Airport (BMK) in Bangkok at 10:55pm (22:55) on Saturday. No injuries were reported.

In a statement, Nok Air said that its jet, a Boeing 737-86J with tail No HS-DBK, was parked at apron No 35 at the time of the incident. The airline also said that the jet’s nose was damaged and will need to be repaired, affecting schedules across the airline.

“Some passengers might be affected or experience flight delays due to the change of schedules,” read the statement released by the airline.

AirAsia said that nobody was on its bus besides the driver at the time of the crash, and the driver is confirmed to be OK. The budget airline is working closely with the airport and all agencies investigating the accident. AirAsia hasn’t yet given a reason as to why the bus hit the plane, but the carrier has apologized for the incident.
